The existing emergency department built in 1986 is no longer able to meet the needs of the growing community of Arroyo Grande. This project more than doubles the licensed number of exam rooms in an environment that provides patient centered care. The scope of work includes a minor remodel of the existing unit, a major addition that effectively doubles the department size and an emergency power upgrade. The result yields a center that brings healthcare resources closer to where people live providing access to both urgent and emergent resources.
