The Kaufman and Davis Plastic Surgery Center is a ground up, two-story, 13,365 sf surgery center in Folsom, California. The surgery center combines modern design and state of the art technology. The shell and interior design of the facility provides a simple but elegant response to the client’s request for a building that incorporates natural materials and sustainable features, including an indoor living green wall spanning almost a full story.
The design incorporated the use of natural day lighting, indoor air quality and materials and finishes with low/no volatile organic compounds (VOC), meeting the checklist for LEED Certified. The result is a beautiful, high-performance building that responds well to the needs of the patients and staff.
