South Monterey County Joint Union High School District had two District campuses with very different needs. The King City campus had many aging facilities in need of repair. The Greenfield campus was a newer campus and was experiencing fairly rapid growth. In addition, each community had unique characteristics that needed to be addressed. A key to this master plan was setting District standards so there was parity between the campuses and incorporating community input into the master plan.
